Lechon Manok and Pancit
Howdie everyone!
Obviously, it's the 6th now. Guess what? It's my boyfriend's birthday. :)
Instead of me, giving him a surprise, it turned out that he was the one who surprised me.
Tentenenen. . . . . . He brought me a very mouth-watering lunch.
LECHON MANOK and PANCIT. <3
There's this one lechon manok station around Talamban, Cebu City.
I think it's kinda famous because every time we pass that area, it never get empty. It's always full of customers.
One day we (boyfie and I) went to the mall and rid a cab. The driver of the cab was so friendly and very accommodating. We're really fond of interviewin a taxi driver for some personal reasons. Okay! so this driver happened to tell us about this popular Lechon Manok Station. He said that this lechon manok station has the most delicious roasted chicken in the whole Cebu. and we were like "weh? 0_o
Hahah! and so that's why of all the lechon manok station in Cebu, my baby bought it from there. Okay, so I have to admit that the cab driver's right! It's really very delicious. As in "nanunuot sa sarap". If you happen to visit Cebu, you must try it! You'll never regret!

GIFT FOR THE BOYFIE
Hi everyone!
I'm back..
I was a bit busy these past few weeks because I've been working my ass for several assignments and tasks given by my first and new employer. Yes. I am now working and that explains my busy and hectic scheds. I have two jobs. :) I'm enjoying it for now but definitely sure will be tired all the time. -__-
Anyways, tomorrow is A-P-R-I-L 6, and tomorrow is my boyfie's birthday. Since I've been very busy, I was not able to go to the mall and buy him something for his birthday. Actually, even if I would have a lot of free time, I would probably won't be able to buy him something because he's someone who prefer thoughtful things and efforts as a gift rather than material things bought from the mall.
Okay. so I was still undecided what to give him, until this day came. When I realized that it's already the 5th, then I rushed on my scrapbook materials and crafts to look for something that could be use for making a DIY gift.
HERE IT IS. . . . .
| Finished! |
| LOTS OF LOVE IN A SMALL PAPER |
I know that it's always the thought that counts. I'm definitely sure that my baby loves me and he'll love this. I'm gonna surprise him. Hahah! He wasn't expecting something like this from me.
Another thing, I'll cook good dishes for him. It's always true that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. :) :) High five for his new life! I hope and pray that I could spend all his birthday years with him. :)
Remember that you don't need to buy expensive gifts to make someone special happy. Sometime, it's better if you give your whole heart and effort. It's enough to make them smile and to love you more and more!
If you happen to have made something for your special someone please don't hesitate to share it to us! Bye Bye! have a great day :)

Philosophy in Life
I had a job interview few weeks ago and I was asked several tricky questions. It was really very challenging considering that I wasn't prepared that time. I already did have several interviews before because I was trying to look for a part time job. I never want to work yet because I've been waiting for something that God knows when it would arrive but I have to. It's because my grandmommy no longer gives me enough allowance. I have to earn in order to survive! haha.. Kiddin. No, seriously kind grandma wants me to work to not waste my time at home and get bored. She said, I must not waste my time and so I did hunt for a job.
I experienced a lot of job interviews in just a month. Imagine?? Oh, I nailed all of it and got hired but unfortunately I didn't work. I just don't want to. it's just that I'm looking for something that I really want. You know... the job that you would really love and not take for granted. Yes, yes. I know I wasted a lot of energy and also time and effort. Well, don't be so rude against me. Just think of this. "I gave the job to other people who need it the most." :) (smile)
Okay. Okay. So let's now talk about that one tricky question that made me realized something so deep. When I had my job interview, I guess that was ahhm.. 3rd to the last job interview, I was really not feeling nervous at all. I could say that I was even overly confident that time. I don't know but I didn't take it seriously but guess what? That was the most challenging job interview I had. The interviewer asked me several tricky question and one of it that gave me a hard time. It was:
"WHAT IS YOUR PHILOSOPHY IN LIFE?"
to be continued. . . . . . . . .

Love and Eternity
I've always been a fan of my grandpa and grandma's love story. They were always happy together. Their love never perish even they already got very old. They seemed to be like teenage lovers. They used to be together until my grandpa died. :'( I miss my grandpa so much. It hurts me to see my grandma sad and lonely without him by her side.
When I watched this video, (Here's the link of the video I watched that really broke my heart and made me cry. :'(
Love and Eternal <------- Click Here. ) I really cried a river. My boyfriend who happened to be watching beside me also cried. It's just that their love was eternal. I just can't hide the pain I feel trying to put my feet on my grandma's shoes. She must have been very melancholic and full of despair. She told me that she doesn't wanna live anymore. She said she already wanted to rest. Those words were the most heartbreaking thing I've heard from her. I don't want to hear those anymore. :'(

To my papang,
I know that he's already in heaven. I know that he is always guiding us and protecting us especially his one and only, Mamang Sally. I love you Pang. :'(

Blue Floral Skater Dress
Greetings everyone! I am selling this blue floral dress for a very affordable price. This is one of my fave dresses. I just used it only once and that was just to take these photos. The reason why I'm selling this is because I'm a kinda flat chested person and this dress does not fit me. It's kinda loose in front. Other than that, I don't have any other reasons. The cloth is very smooth and light weight so it's not a hustle to wear especially if you are going to public places.
I'm sorry for the low quality. I just used my fone to take the photo.
Hoping for your kind consideration.

Snow White in the middle of K-nowhere
I'm really a fan of dark colored dresses, tops, skirts , etc. If I say it's dark ,it simply means dark red and dark blue. I just think that dark colors give elegance and class. It would also make you look even lighter.

Warts no more!
Have you ever felt hopeless because of all the dark spots on your face? Have you felt dismayed when you realized that those are not dark spots but WARTS?
Worry no more because here's a remedy for that!
SALYCYLIC ACID . .
Yes it's familiar! This is what you commonly see together with the Liniments in your favorite drug stores or supermarkets. :) This is available over the counter.
How exactly does Salicylic Acid works?
Salicylic acid works by its power to penetrate the follicle. It encourages the shedding of dead skin cells from within the follicle, helping keep the pores clear of cellular debris.
Scientifically, Salicylic Acid is termed as a Keratolytic. It is a substance that removes skin and peel it off.
Just make sure that you know exactly what you are trying to treat. Make sure it's really warts!
HOW TO USE IT?
- Wash your face thoroughly with soap and wipe it with clean cloth. (This will soften your warts for better penetration.)
- Get a cotton bud and dip it to your salicylic acid. Just don't dip it too much to avoid excess liquid. This is just to prevent the excess salicylic acid to spill over the other part of the skin.
- Gently dab the cotton bud to the affect area. Make sure that it is in the affected area. Do not apply/dab it on the unaffected skin. It might burn the unaffected area.
- Repeat this every 48hours for 7 days.
- You will notice that your warts are starting to darken and will eventually peel off.
- Do not force it to peel off.
- Once it already peeled off then tenenenennn.. Smooth skin again with no trace of wart marks at all.
p.s: Please consult your dermatologist if signs persist.
It's normal to feel stinging effect.
God BLess. :)

My All time favorte Spaghetti Secrets (PART 2)
As what I've said, I could not assure that what tastes good to me tastes good to you. Just give it a try. :)
Actually, I really don't follow recipes/recipe books. I just follow my own tastes. I experienced using recipe books before but just added and subtracted ingredients from it so I decided not to use recipe books anymore.
Okay, so here it is.
The ingredients I use:
- 1 kilo of Any brand of Spaghetti pasta
- 4 El Rancho Spaghetti sauce (this is what I use because it's meatier)
- Papa Ketchup (to complement the sour taste of the Spaghetti sauce)
- Pepper
- Salt
- Eden Cheese (cheddar)
- Oyster sauce
- Butter
- Onion
- Garlic
- Cooking oil
- Liberty condensed milk
Okay so LET'S START COOKING!
Step. 1
- Cook the pasta in a boiling water.
Tips: It's best if you add oil and salt to it so that it would not stick together and it would have a bit taste.
Step. 2
FOR THE SAUCE
- Mince Garlic and Onion.
- Heat your pan.
- For me, I use butter instead of oil because IT TASTES BETTER and IT ADDS FLAVOR (it's still up to you )
- saute garlic first, then onion
- Add the Spaghetti sauce then add oyster sauce (I put 2 tbsp oyster sauce)
- Add ketchup (1 bottle) and stir well.
- Now add, condensed milk. Add as many as you want depending on your sweetness limit. Stir well to distribute the sweetness all over the mixture.
- Add 1/2 grated cheese (cheddar), stir well to avoid the sauce from sticking on the pan
- then Add pepper
- Let it boil for a bit (boiling means there is already formation of bubbles/just imagine something like a lava )
- just add salt if you still need to add the saltiness (don't add to much. the purpose of the cheese is to add the salty taste to your sauce)
- Teeennneeen!!! SAUCE is done.
Now all you have to do is to prepare it and garnish some cheese and basil.. :)
ENJOY! Hope you'll like it.
Oh! Before I forget, PLEASE DO PUT YOUR HEART WHILE YOU'RE COOKING. It adds flavor. ;) :)

My All Time favorite Spaghetti Secrets (PART 1)
Hi everyone!
How's your day? Feeling hungry? Missing pasta?
Hmm.. Guess it's the best time to share lil secret for a fantastic Filipino by Heart Spaghetti.
How's your day? Feeling hungry? Missing pasta?
Hmm.. Guess it's the best time to share lil secret for a fantastic Filipino by Heart Spaghetti.
Cooking is really my passion. I learned it by myself. I was the typical "pakialamera sa kusina" when I was young. My lola always had a headache because whenever there's an occasion, the "me" would never leave the kitchen.
When I was in grade school, the favorite dish that I used to bring in school during Christmas parties was Spaghetti. I don't know - maybe because it's my favorite food and I can cook it by myself (even at a very young age).
I remember, I started cooking spaghetti when I was in Grade 3. Yes very young; considering that I was still 8 years old that time. The normal age for a G3 Student is 9-10 yrs.old. I cooked the sauce of my spaghetti and that was what I would bring in school.
I've been cooking spaghetti ever since Grade 3. I got really encouraged by the feed backs of my classmates and my teachers. They always told me that they loved the spaghetti and that it really tasted good. They also said that it tasted different from others. Honestly I really felt pity for the Spaghetti which my classmates brought because it's containers never got empty. Just mine! Just mine :) :) Heheh
I don't want to sound so proud but yah know until now nobody else even in the family could copy the taste of my spaghetti. :) hahaha! I really don't know but I guess whatever you cook would be so delicious if you put your heart in to it when you are cooking. You know, the traditionally thing: you should not be mad or sad when you are cooking. The bitterness and sourness would transfer to the food. HAHAH!
Now, are you still willing to know my secrets?
Then let me reveal it to you NOW.
p.s: please don't be shock of my ingredients. This is just how I cook the spaghetti. I am a person who does not follow recipes/ recipe book. I follow my own taste. I could not assure that what tastes good to me tastes good to you. No violent reactions please. :)

My first ever Sinulog Fest photo. I've been living here in Cebu, Philippines for almost 6 years and I know it's hard to believe that this was the first photo I had since then. I did celebrate Sinulog Fest 2 years ago but I was, sad to say, alone. I didn't get to enjoy it that much because I was ALONE. The sad truth of being a lonesome. Hahahah! I just had this photo last January 20, 2014 (Sunday), exactly the date of the Sinulog Festival.
People from different places all over the Philippines come and visit Cebu to watch and experience this fun and exciting fest, which the main highlight is to give glory to the Patron Saint of Cebu - Sr. Sto. Nino.
Sto. Nino is said to be the "Little Jesus" or "The Baby Jesus" . Every day, people in Cebu (coming from different municipalities and barangays) come to Basilica de Sto. Nino to join the Novena mass. Different people from different classes join together in one purpose- that is: To give Glory and Honor to Sto. Nino.
During the Sinulog Festival, Cebu would be the loudest. The City would be very colorful and so are people.
It's fun and wonderful. It's crazy and very vulgar. It's a real festival. It's a big celebration. It's a huge party.
You can see the unity of all Cebuanos and the friendship in the City. That's the good thing I observed here in Cebu. For 6 years, I could say that this City has the most friendly people. I guess that's the reason why many tourists come and visit Cebu. It's not just the festival alone but the confidence towards the people. If you're a foreigner and have not visit Cebu yet, then you must try it! It's one of the best cities in the Country.

Take time to read
As for the Scripture says:
Deuteronomy 5:16
"Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you."
but God is so fair.
"FATHERS DO NOT PROVOKE YOUR CHILDREN, SO THEY WON'T BE DISCOURAGED."
Colossians 3: 21
I went to church and thought it was boring because I see that there were few people inside the church. I arrived a little early and so the reason why. When the mass started, I thought it was just a usual mass but then it wasn't. Believe me or not, it was the first mass I had in Cebu where the whole mass was almost field with tears. The presider was so good and I was really moved by his message. There were a lot of things/topics and good news he shared but there was really one thing that moved me the most. He said "When we die, we should not worry but have hope. When we have a family member or relatives who died the more that we should not be sad, it's because it's not his death alone that matters but the good seeds he left behind. The people he left in the life with Christ." This was exactly what the Presider told us during the wake of my late grandpa. He said "It does not matter how long the person lived but the quality of life he had." (i'm getting teary.. back to the mass)
&& so the story continues..
The presider said, ""Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you." but he also said "FATHERS DO NOT PROVOKE YOUR CHILDREN, SO THEY WON'T BE DISCOURAGED."
Now the question was: "Parents are we worthy of this HONOR?"
Then he continued preaching.
A true parent is someone who would never make their children feel pain even if they no longer have anything to give them happiness.
A true parent's pride is to never allow their children to suffer even if they are already suffering.
They would never count their deeds and they would never ever say that they are already tired of helping, caring and working for their family.
They would laugh if their children laugh. They would cry if their children cry. They would never let their children disrespect them by disrespecting their children first.
They would care for their children no matter how old they are. They would never stop caressing their hair and hugging them tight even if they already get old because they also want to be taken care off when they are already very old.
A true parent is someone who could face all the challenges in life no matter what because they should be the one who build a strong foundation in the family. This foundation should be very sturdy because their children get strength from them.
A true parent would be someone who would make their children very proud of them and the true pride of a parent is to be able to build a happy family.
Every second of their life they make their children feel loved and be worthy of the love of their children. They would never despise their children nor forsaken them because God never forsaken His son, Jesus Christ.
God saved Jesus from pain and gave him eternal life- so as the parents who should love their children unconditionally.
-------After what the presider said, I came to remember how lucky I am to have a very wonderful parents who are always worthy of our honor. Then it made me even appreciate them more when I came to realize that not all people have the parents and grandparents that I have so I should be more thankful. Unending thanks for despite of so many flaws (no family is perfect) I have not only one but 4 best parents in the world. (parents and grandparents) Parents who swallow their pride just to give us the best of what we could have; who worked so hard and never complain of being tired even if they're already old; who would give less to others but never less prioritize us but give us the most. I am just so blessed.
